Italy Day 2

Upon our arrival at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Rome, I immediately realized we were not in New Jersey anymore. We then got onto a bus, which took us to our hotel. We had a couple of mishaps, but we got to the hotel all safe and sound. This was my most difficult day in Italy, having gone without food or sleep for nearly 20 hours with a packed itinerary ahead. I took a really quick nap in the hotel, had a freakout, picked myself up, and moved on. Our next plans were to go on a guided tour on golf carts around Rome to many different monuments. It was really cold but so amazing to see. At night, we went to dinner at a local restaurant with all the traditional Roman foods. We started with prosciutto, cheese, and salad, followed by carbonara pasta, a meat dish, and tiramisu for dessert. Later on, we walked to the Spanish Steps and ate some gelato
